Belarusian businessmen: we expect a fruitful dialogue

Today began the official visit of the Belarusian business delegation to Pavlodar region

The first place of the visit was the meeting with entrepreneurs of the region, which was held at the Regional Chamber of Entrepreneurs.

According to the head of the Belarusian delegation, the head of trade and economic service of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Kazakhstan Gennady Klyga, Pavlodar region is considered as a promising region for the development of economic cooperation.

"This is not our first visit to the region. Every time visiting Pavlodar, you get a lot of positive impressions. Therefore, it is encouraging that in the field of business, we have friendly, partnership relations, which we plan to strengthen in the future. Today, our delegation represented different business spheres, from the food industry to mechanical engineering. The main thing is to find "common ground" in order to give further impetus to the development of bilateral economic relations", - said Mr. Klyga.

It was reported that during his visit to the region it is expected to sign six agreements, the main of which is a memorandum between the Belarusian JSC "Gomselmash" and Pavlodar enterprise "Agromash" for the sum of 45 million USD for the supply of machinery, equipment and combine harvesters for further assembly in Kazakhstan .

An important part of the meeting was the signing of a memorandum on cooperation between the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Pavlodar region and SE "Administration of Free Economic Zone" Gomel-Raton".

"This agreement involves the development of cooperation between business circles of the region and the promotion of business contacts. Furthermore, given the existing potential and investment opportunities, we are confident that the Memorandum will encourage the strengthening of trade and economic relations and, in general, enhances the effectiveness of mutual business cooperation", - said the director of the Regional Chamber of Entrepreneurs Serik Baiseitov.

During the meeting, entrepreneurs of the two countries also held B2B talks, the results of which were considered by way of creation of joint ventures, as well as the possibility of attracting advanced technologies of Belarusian enterprises in Pavlodar region.

The Belarusian delegation also plans to take part in the upcoming international investment forum "Ertis Invest-2016", which will be held in Pavlodar tomorrow on 2nd of November.
